Ranch Dressing Mix
David found this recipe on his mission. The original called for mayo and buttermilk, but we have substituted sour cream and love the results.
1 Quart quantity
| 1 | tsp | Parsley Flakes |
| 1 | tsp | Onion Powder |
| 1/8 | tsp | Garlic Powder |
| 3/8 | tsp | Pepper |
| 1 1/4 | tsp | Salt |
Mix all together. Mix with 16 oz of sour cream, or to taste.
I usually make a large batch of the spice mix and store it with my other spices. That way it is quick and easy to mix up a new batch. About 1 heaping Tablespoon for 16 oz of sour cream - of course adjust to your own personal tastes.
To thin this recipe to make a pourable dressing, add a little milk.
